Turner and the Age of British Watercolour

A new exhibition at the National Trust's Petworth House celebrates the golden age of British watercolour, 1780-1850, with works by JMW Turner and leading artists of his generation.This unique exhibition features thirty-six outstanding loans from the Higgins Museum, Bedford - one of the finest collections of British watercolours. It offers a rare opportunity to see a major dimension of British art not normally encountered at Petworth, with stunning works by Constable, Cotman, Dayes, Girtin, Hearne and many others.
